Home Repair & Maintenance

Payment & Partnership Notes

Some businesses may generously offer discounted labor, donated materials, or volunteer hours in support of UCAN’s mission. In these cases, beneficiaries may receive an invoice for the remaining balance due. UCAN may cover part or all of this balance depending on available funding, donor support, and outreach priorities.

All services must be coordinated through UCAN prior to work being performed. Beneficiaries are required to contact UCAN in advance and use contractors or service providers approved by UCAN. This ensures proper documentation, stewardship, and alignment with UCAN’s mission, quality standards.

All services are provided by licensed contractors and documented for transparency and impact reporting. UCAN cannot guarantee payment or reimbursement for work arranged independently or performed without prior coordination. This policy protects our volunteers, donors, and mission integrity.
