Sean Leone - Founder
“I’ve never been one to seek the spotlight, but I understand that leadership requires visibility. People deserve to know the values behind the voice they follow. I’m here not to be seen, but so others feel seen and if sharing my journey helps inspire or serve, then I’ll keep showing up to give hope.” - Sean Leone
Sean Leone is the founder of UCAN – Undivided Community Acts Network and a proud resident of LaPorte County, Indiana. For over 12 years, he has volunteered through his church and participated in countless community events to support and uplift those around him. Whether he's helping entrepreneurs build meaningful connections, lending a hand to someone in need, or stepping up during a crisis, Sean’s philosophy remains the same: show up and serve where God needs him.
UCAN was born from a vision God gave Sean many years ago a calling to create a movement of love and unity that brings people together with purpose. With humility and boldness, he continues to live out that mission, not seeking recognition but simply reflecting the grace that changed his life.
His journey speaks one truth loud and clear: we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Wherever God leads, Sean goes boots on the ground, heart wide open. And through it all, he believes that when we answer God’s call with action, Lifes are transformed. Together, we can change the world.
In early 2025, a devastating outbreak of bird flu struck the sandhill crane population near Fish Lake, killing more than 1,500 birds across Indiana. After praying for several days, Sean Leone felt called by God to take action immediately to organize a cleanup effort to protect his local community and the environment. With volunteers, boats, shovels, trash cans, safety, grit, and donations, he and his team personally helped remove over 192+ carcasses from the water and shorelines a response covered by national and local news outlets across the United States including USA Today, WSBT, WNDU, WVPE, WBEZ, Smithsonian Magazine, Chicago Tribune, South Bend Tribune, Hometown News, and several more.
His leadership rooted in faith, love, and action is a living reflection of UCAN’s core values: service, connection, impact and hope and want’s to help bring unity to the communities to help those in need with love and action.
What began as a local response has now sparked a national conversation around servant leadership, unity, and faith fueled action. UCAN isn't just a name it’s a call for transformation.
A reminder that you can make a difference in every community, simply by answering the call and choosing to help with partnerships forming, volunteer interest surging and new doors opening in neighboring counties, Sean and his team continue to lean into this Godgiven momentum with bold faith and a humble spirit.
Every event, every act of kindness, every tear wiped and hand held is a seed planted not for applause, but to reflect the love Jesus has for His children. UCAN isn’t about reinventing the wheel it’s about joining hands as one body. It’s about strengthening what already exists: bringing together organizations, businesses, and programs under a united mission, led by God.
In a world often divided by status, politics, or pride, UCAN exists to unify not to compete.
The movement is expanding exploring mentorship programs for young leaders, organizing crisis response teams, and building community restoration initiatives that heal fractured neighborhoods from the inside out.
This isn’t charity, it’s ministry. It’s the Gospel in motion. It’s everyday people choosing to be vessels of love, led not by ego, but by obedience.
“We’re not here to be the light. We’re here to reflect it.” — Sean Leone
Matthew 19:26 - But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Matthew 5:14-16 - Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
